NEW LICENSING AND DESIGN COMPANY

Jen Reed and Jeanine Baechtold Establish Kristy Valshan Inc. to Promote and Brand Their Versatile Artwork Through Licensing

Oak Brook, IL (July 1, 2007) - Jen Valshan Reed and Jeanine Kristy Baechtold recently announced the formation of Kristy Valshan Inc., a licensing and design company.  The two women actively promote and brand their digital artwork under the Kristy Valshan licensing label.  The artists’ bold color selections, intricate patterns and unique style are the signature elements found in each of their distinctive collections.

Reed, an established website designer and former owner of RTech Solutions, Inc., and Baechtold, a CPA and founder of a large digital scrapbook community, each solidified their designing careers by selling their popular digital scrapbook creations through various outlets directly to consumers in 2004. The two officially began their partnership in 2005 when Reed joined Baechtold in expanding her online digital scrapbook boutique. After effectively collaborating on this and various other projects, the women realized they not only share a creative sense of design and keen mind for business, but they also share common goals for success. In early 2007 Reed and Baechtold decided to take their business partnership to the next level and began licensing under the Kristy Valshan brand name.

"Kristy Valshan combines traditional artistic media with the freedom of technology to create artwork that is both beautiful and unique," says Reed. "Our stunning use of color, intricate patterns and trendy style are evident in the entire Kristy Valshan design line."

With themes ranging from European elegance to whimsical fun, Kristy Valshan licensees have already successfully incorporated its trend-forward designs into a variety of product categories and industries. "Our artwork allows for product versatility and consumer appeal in various arenas including stationery, textiles, clothing, home décor, tabletop, giftware and scrapbooking," says Baechtold. "The possibilities are endless."
